Guess who’s back… Hit the Cheese – and how!!!

After a three-year absence, Hit the Cheese 2014 celebrated a successful comeback last weekend with a new location in Silvaplana. Saturday started with a relaxed film and photo session on the Corvatsch. Ride with the pros and of course the GummiLove ambassadors Nicolas Müller and Markus Keller were also there, in the freshly shaped park and good snow conditions. This was the ideal warm-up for the show at Hit the Cheese. In the evening, skiers and snowboarders met at the Mulets sports center in Silvaplana for the actual event. Despite temperatures that were far too warm, the shaper crew put together a unique park. In addition to the kicker, wall ride, rails and cheese bonk, there was also aworld premiere to admire - the first open loop at an event.As always, the field of participants was first class. World-class riders such as Nicolas Müller, Christian "Hitsch" Haller, Markus Keller and Pat Burgener thrilled the numerous spectators with their stylish tricks. The winners in the three categories are - Deniz Cinek (Best Creative Line) - Max Burri (Best Bonk) - Mike Knobel together with the 12-year-old rookie skier from the Engadin - Nicola Bolinger (Best Team) After the contest, riders and spectators met up for a legendary fondue meal in the Mulets restaurant. Of course, the GummiLove dessert was not to be missed this year and was presented sexier than ever. The live band P.A.T. with Pat & Max Burgener and DJ Boogie Dan from Germany ensured a smooth transition from a cosy get-together to a lively party until the early hours of the morning. In the party tent, the GummiLove Ambassaors, DJ Prince Boogie and the DJ set Mannequiene created a unique party atmosphere.
