Symposium “Living with HIV/Aids” on November 26, 2016 in Zurich

SY+G SWISS YOUTH POSITIVE GROUP The Swiss Youth Positive Group (SY+G) is an association whose members are young people living with HIV/AIDS. This group focuses on psychosocial support and the promotion of interpersonal relationships. The aim is to enable people with HIV/Aids to lead a dignified life in all areas. The members of the association meet regularly to exchange ideas and provide support. Educational work, prevention in schools and institutions and media work with relatives are also part of the association's tasks. Benjamin Wöhrle † 17.8.2016: "I've been an integral part of the youth group since it was founded. For me, this group means life, because I was always understood and supported in difficult situations. As I didn't have an easy childhood and adolescence, this was my lifeline."Due to an increasing number of inquiries from young people to the SY+G, the association sees the need for a public conference on the topic of "Living with HIV/Aids".
