On Saturday, January 6, 2018, GummiLove was able to conduct the experience workshop with the young people from the Tankraum in Lenzerheide. The participants were Sina Candrian as snowboard pro, Vincent Schmid as freeskipro and Dani and Corinne Rietmann.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side and we couldn't go into the park due to strong winds. As the area still has a lot to offer, we rocked the mountain anyway. After a couple of cool seasons where we learned some new tricks and, above all, got to know each other, we made ourselves comfortable in the tank room.
The bridge from freestyle sports to sexual health was made easy, because those who don't behave or protect themselves properly in freestyle sports quickly have negative experiences. Sina Candrian and Vincent Schmid were able to share their experiences and give good advice, whether it was about preparing for the Olympics, behavior in the park or dealing with injuries. If you prepare and protect yourself well, you don't have the guarantee that you won't fall on your nose again, but it won't be so bad that you can get up again and carry on.
When it comes to sexuality, young people quickly made the connection and realized that those who protect themselves and others in sexuality and treat others with respect have more fun and stay healthy. We know that no-one is a professional in any field, but it is important to get up again when you fall down and enjoy the whole thing. Corinne Rietmann did some playful exercises such as interviews with porn stars, using condoms correctly and egg catchers. There was a lot of laughter and exchanges. An eventful day came to an end and we can look back on it with great pleasure.
