The Swiss Pump Track Skating Championships were a complete success. This year, even the weather cooperated and the riders were able to set new records and best times on the legendary pump track in Balzers. In the morning, the athletes had one last chance to qualify for the Swiss Championships. Followed by a legendary bowl jam Herzblut style. The jam was won by Dario Zimmermann, congratulations! Afterwards, local matador Jonny Giger took the opportunity to host the subsequent 'Trick for Cash' session and awarded CHF 500 to the most creative moves from over 40 skaters. From 17:45, things got serious as the winners were awarded CHF 2,000 in prize money. The athletes started the final in a great atmosphere and in front of a large audience. The Kids & Rookies in particular put in an incredible performance, some of whom were faster than some of the older categories. PumpKing&Queen is definitely in the pipeline. Schumann Thomas from Mollis and Meier Julia from Herisau claimed the PumpQueen and King titles (drum roll...). Awesome! Congratulations to all our PumpRoyals 2018! A huge thank you for the great organization on site goes to our hosts from the municipality of Balzers. They really went the extra mile and organized an outstanding championship for the fastest skaters in Switzerland.
