Legends Alex Humbel, Franco Furger and Martina Tscharner at the 1st Zuoz Rocks Banked Slalom 4 Charity February 16, 2019 Paganini Giordano Snowboard BEST TIME A good 60 participants ventured to the start of the spectacular snowboard event at the first Banked Slalom in Zuoz, where skiers were also allowed to take part for the first time. All participants and many guests celebrated this first-time event in a family atmosphere. The conditions on the course were challenging. Nevertheless, the riders mastered the wild ride through the steep Zuoz bends brilliantly. For which they were frenetically cheered on by the audience. The first places in both the women's and men's races were fiercely contested. Former snowboard pro Franco Furger and former world champion in the half pipe, Martina Tscharner - both from Pontresina - won in their respective categories thanks to an outstanding run. In the "Men - Snowboard Masters 30-39 years" category, the local Giordano Paganini from La Punt won with a time of 90.07.Jonas Waldvogel, the Crowland and Fresk team and the Zuoz ski area gave the first Banked Slalom event in Zuoz a very special spirit. In the evening, the glam rock band "King Zebra" and DJ Matzipan created a great atmosphere for the 300 party guests at the Zuoz Rocks Party.
