Kilian Braun is the Swiss star in Ice Cross Downhill and is among the top 20 in the world rankings! He races down an ice track at speeds of up to 80 km/h in front of over 100,000 spectators while having to defend himself UFC-style against his opponents. The whole thing takes place on a 100-meter-high ramp, separated only by waist-high barriers from falling to his death. But the track is not all downhill. The athletes have to survive kickers, waves, hairpin bends and even stairs. Falls are painful – at the very least! His recipe for success on the track as in life: “If you brake, you lose!”
