Self-image

Who likes everything about themselves? No one 100%. On the way to becoming an adult, you have to get to know your body anew and this exercise will help you do that.

Exercise for a positive self-image

Who likes themselves 100% and can no longer hear the phrase "You're perfect just the way you are!"? Especially when you're growing up, a lot has changed on your body and you definitely have to learn to live in it again and feel comfortable in it. Some days this often works quite well and others not so much.
If you had to describe your favorite hobby, you could list lots of things that are really great, but you could also list things that aren't good and you still love this hobby. That's exactly how it should be with yourself.

Practice:

- Stand in front of a mirror with or without clothes. Find things, body parts or features that you like about yourself.
- Find things, body parts or features that you don't like about yourself.
- Try to be happy about the things you like and acknowledge the things you don't like and accept them as part of you.
- Repeat this again and again and of course try to find more positive things and realize that you can also say exactly what you don't like about yourself.
