Gender
In English, there is a difference between 'sex', the biological sex, and 'gender', the social sex. Gender is a term that describes how a society associates certain characteristics and behaviors with men and women. Sometimes there are certain things that are expected of men and other things that are expected of women. These expectations are called "gender-typical". But there are also people who don't feel entirely male or entirely female and are somewhere in between. They are called "genderfluid". Gender has nothing to do with a person's sexual orientationSexual orientation is the type of sexual attraction you feel for another person. Each person has a unique sexual orientation that can change throughout life. For example, you can be bisexual, asexual, homosexual, heterosexual, queer, etc., .... Social gender is socially constructed and can therefore be changed.
