Majority society

A majority society is a group of people who make up the majority in a society or community. The members of this group often share certain characteristics, such as a common language, culture, traditions and values. In many cases, they also have a privileged position in society and therefore enjoy advantages that are denied to other groups. The majority society often determines the rules and norms in a society and has a major influence on social, political and economic life.
