Question submitted for topic STI

Does the cervical cancer vaccination need to be boostered?

I was vaccinated against cervical cancer as a teenager.
Do I need to refresh the vaccination over time as it has been 8 to 10 years?

Hello

No booster is currently planned. The HPV vaccination should be given before the first sexual intercourse. Important: the Pap test should continue to be carried out even after an HPV vaccination, as the vaccination does not cover all cancer-causing HPV types.
