Measuring stick: What size condom do I need?

It is not the size that matters, but that the condom fits properly. There are many different types and sizes of condoms. However, to ensure protection and reduce the risk of a burst condom, it is important to find the right condom.

1. Measure correctly

Measure the circumference of your erect penis with the measuring tape at the base of the penis, which is crucial for the correct size!

2. Select circumference

cm

3. Your condom recommendations

You need an extra large condom with a circumference of over 13 cm.

Facts about the condom

  • Use only lubricants that are suitable for use with condoms. No oils or Vaseline.
  • Store at 5 to 25 degrees Celsius, not loose but in a box or the original carton packaging.
  • Do not use condoms after the expiry date.
  • The condom must fit properly: it should easily unroll from the glans over the penis without the use of force. The condom should not have any large folds or be too tight.
  • A condom can never be too long, because you simply unroll it to the base of the penis. However, it must not be too short, otherwise it could slip off.
  • Condoms with the CE and “OK” quality seals offer security, as strict quality control is carried out.
  • A good and suitable condom protects you from unwanted pregnancies, HIV and, to a large extent, from other sexually transmitted diseases.
  • It is important to test different condoms and find your favorite in terms of size and feel.
